Doctors Bag

Three of the four of my wife's grandparents were doctors.  The two on her mothers side were called the Doctors' Hunter.  Her grandmother Ede Hunter, was mistaken for a male sometime in the 1920 and was accepted into medical school.  She refused to leave when they realized their error.  She was a fabulous doctor by all accounts. 

Dr. Ede's doctor bag was handed down to my wife (Hilary), where hundreds of items have resided for years.  This particular one struck my eye -- so I photographed it.  It's summer, so anything goes on the ole blog.

The Inn of the Kingdom

Happy Place: Place where you go that puts a smile on your face and takes your heart rate down.  If there was ever a happy place, the famed Kingdom Trails of East Burke, Vermont is it for this guy.  Swimmable streams, miles of singletrack, great beer and great times with family and friends.  Biking year round.  This could turn into a very long post.  So, I will end it here with this little trailer I did for the Willloburke Inn.  The larger version is coming at the end of Fall, but for now enjoy about 50 seconds of happy.

Voted #1 of 7 Most Impactful Videos in 2016 by Finalsite

Working in collaboration with Vermont's Fogdall Studios, Crowley Digital produced and filmed this admissions piece for Trinity Pawling, an all boys prep school in New York.  The film was a hit and was voted as having the most impact of any other admissions videos in the K12 market of 2016 by Finalsite (see article here.)  Possibly the best part of the review, by Mia Major, is her first sentence:  "I'm a 25-year old female, and by the end of the video I wanted to be a part of the brotherhood."  Mission accomplished ... thanks Mia.

Life is just better in Vermont, period.  Located at the heart of the Kingdom Trails in East Burke, Vermont rests this little gem.  If you like to bike, ski, hike or just spoil yourself with a massage, this is the place to be.  Sit back and relax, you're on green mountain time (ripped off from Vermont Coffee's old slogan) ... why did they ditch that by the way?

Welcome to Phillips Exeter Academy

This morning, 396 students awoke to find this message from Phillips Exeter Academy in their inbox, telling them that they'd been accepted to PEA and that we're all celebrating with them.  Over 3500 people have watched this video since its release just 12 hours ago. 

Once again we recorded one of the many musical groups on campus.  Such a great group of kids and a blast to work with.
